ISLANDS CHAPEL
I have just learned of Mike's unexpected passing and want to express my sympathy to his family and friends. Mike was in my English class at SCDS, and I remember him to be a bright and somewhat zany young man - great sense of humor. He will be missed. M. Hull
- Marcia Hull, Savannah, GA
Mary, I have just learned of Mike's passing. One of my college roomates sent me the obituary from The Savannah Morning News. Neither did I know of Graham's and Betty's passing. I thought so much of all of you, and I am so sorry that Cliff did not let me know. Connie and I share the void that all of you must feel just now, but it is our prayer that our heavenly Father will soon fill that void with wonderful memories. We love all of you. Sincerely, Connie and Edwin
- Russell Edwin Blanchard, Jr, Augusta, GA

Goodbye, my Cousin - you will be in my thoughts forever and we can 'chuckle' again together one of these days.
- Carol B. Boykin, Dawsonville, GA
Mike, you're a strange and wonderful person, and I wish you peace.
- John Greenwald, Atlanta, GA
Mike and I were on the soccer team together at Country Day. I hadn't seen Mike for many, many years, so I was shocked to read of his passing in today's paper. I well remember his mischievous sense of humor. Rest in peace, Mike, you will be missed.
- Richard Schulze, Jr., Savannah, GA

Mike was a great friend and cohort in highschool. He visited me from time to time and I had an unsuccessful venture to open up a branch office of my firm in his office.I am sad for his loss but happy for his life and friends.

My deepest sympathy to the Bailey family and friends. Death is always painful but under tragic circumstances even more so. I can only imagine your grief but I share your pain. The Holy Scriptures calls death 'the enemy', and 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 26 says the 'last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing'. It also tells us the wonderful future in store for all our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. My prayers are with you that you will find the comfort the Scriptures provide and be strengthened through the difficult days ahead.
- Dolores Baker, , NJ
One of my favorite memories of Mike, indeed of my youth, was a canoe trip down the French Broad river with him as freshmen in college. What a crazy, beautiful, and fun time. What a crazy, beautiful, and fun friend he was. The knowledge of his presence in this world will be missed.
- Foy Chip Tootle, Dahlonega, GA
